About the Role

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Lab Analyst to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring product quality, safety, and operational excellence through rigorous scientific testing and meticulous data documentation within our plant.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, receive, and prepare samples for precise laboratory analysis following approved protocols.
- Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
- Operate, maintain, and perform routine checks on specialized analytical equipment including AAS, XRD, XRF, and LIBS.
- Record, verify, and report test results accurately while supporting quality control and process monitoring activities.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, clear sample identification, and comprehensive documentation standards.
- Report any unusual, inconsistent, or abnormal test results promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
- Ensure a clean and orderly laboratory environment by adhering to strict housekeeping and chemical safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with production and technical teams to resolve quality and process-related issues.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology (SLT), Metallurgy, or a related science discipline.
- SSCE or IGCSE with at least five credits including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and one other relevant science subject.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant laboratory experience, with hands-on exposure to AAS, XRD, XRF, or LIBS technologies.
- Strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a high level of laboratory discipline.
- Residency in Ode Remo or nearby communities with the ability to comfortably commute to the plant is strongly preferred.
