About the Role
Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited, a leading indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated R&D Executive to join our innovative research team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our pharmaceutical development initiatives, ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality, life-changing healthcare products across Nigeria and the West African region.
Key Responsibilities- Synthesize potential process-related impurities and reported polymorphs of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs).
- Plan and perform laboratory process validation, trouble-shooting, and process optimization studies.
- Prepare comprehensive R&D documentation including drug license approvals, technology transfer documents, and chemistry manufacturing and control reports.
- Ensure strict implementation of statutory compliances under ISO and WHO-GMP certifications.
- Conduct HAZOP studies and coordinate new product trials alongside the safety and production departments.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) or B.Sc. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of proven research and development experience in chemical synthesis or the pharmaceutical API industry.
- Deep understanding of WHO-GMP standards, laboratory process validation, and regulatory documentation.
