About the Role
Seven Up Bottling Company, a global leader in the beverage industry renowned for iconic brands like 7UP, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will plan, organize, supervise, and control production activities across assigned lines to fulfill production plans efficiently, maintain optimum costs, and uphold our uncompromising standards for safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Strictly execute daily and weekly production schedules, ensuring seamless shift handovers and minimal operational downtime.
- Enforce stringent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, ensuring 100 percent PPE compliance and zero tolerance for workplace hazards.
- Monitor and maintain rigorous Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Housekeeping (GHK) standards across all assigned production lines.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to troubleshoot bottlenecks and resolve non-conformities promptly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, championing Manufacturing Excellence routines, Root Cause Analysis (RCA/CAPA), and waste reduction strategies.
- Manage shift personnel effectively, providing coaching, performance management, and fostering a culture aligned with company values.
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant hands-on operational and maintenance experience within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bottling operations, manufacturing planning, and quality control parameters.
- Proven expertise in budget management, cost control, and financial impact analysis.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of coaching teams and driving change management.
