About the Role
Culture Kitchen is a vibrant, cultural-themed restaurant located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, specializing in authentic Eastern Nigerian (Igbo) cuisine. Since opening in late 2024, we have captivated diners with our immersive village atmosphere and rich regional delicacies. We are currently seeking dedicated Kitchen Assistants to support our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Assist head chefs and line cooks with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation, kitchen area, and storage spaces in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory, restock supplies, and handle basic stock rotation duties.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during busy service hours.
- Support general kitchen operations and ensure timely food delivery for all orders.
- Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Deep appreciation and knowledge of traditional Eastern Nigerian (Igbo) dishes and cooking methods.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure hospitality environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
