Key Responsibilities- Assist the head cook and kitchen team with daily food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
- Ensure all vegetables, meats, and other ingredients are thoroughly washed and prepared according to kitchen standards.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen workspaces, cooking equipment, and food storage areas.
- Assist with the proper stocking, rotation, and storage of food items and kitchen supplies to minimize waste.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Support other kitchen and restaurant staff as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen is an added advantage.
- Ability to thrive and work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional personal hygiene practices and a strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new culinary skills, take direction, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proximity to work is essential; candidates must reside around Ojota, Ikeja, Oregun, or their immediate environs.
