Key Responsibilities- Assist the head chef and kitchen staff with food preparation, chopping, peeling, and washing ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
- Ensure proper storage of food items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and report low stock to the head chef promptly.
- Support daily kitchen operations to ensure timely food service delivery for guests.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant culinary or kitchen experience in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Possess a relevant qualification in catering, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Must currently reside in Port Harcourt.
