About the Role
Sonia Foods Industries, a leading FMCG manufacturer in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Warehouse Manager for our upgraded factory plant in Shagamu, Ogun State. In this pivotal role, you will direct all daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics coordination to ensure seamless product distribution and maximum efficiency as we scale to meet growing national demand.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and timely dispatch of food and beverage products.
- Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through rigorous cycle counts, periodic stocktakes, and strict adherence to FIFO and FEFO principles.
- Enforce product quality preservation, hygiene standards, pest control, and proactive loss prevention measures.
- Coordinate closely with sales, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure flawless order fulfillment and distributor satisfaction.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high productivity.
- Implement health and safety compliance, ensuring proper use of PPE, clear walkways, and safe material-handling equipment operation.
- Manage ERP and WMS transactions accurately, generating detailed daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven warehouse management experience, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector in Nigeria.
- Strong proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Deep understanding of inventory control, stock reconciliation, and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
