About the Role
Proforce Limited is a premier total defence solution provider specializing in armoured vehicles and personal protection, delivering confidence in mobility across Nigeria and Africa. We are seeking a vigilant, disciplined, and detail-oriented Assistant Chief Security Officer to join our security and facility team at our plant location in Ode Remo, Ogun State. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding plant assets, specialized equipment, intellectual property, military-grade inventory, and personnel through robust access control, physical surveillance, and emergency response protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee personnel, visitor, contractor, and vehicular entry and exit points, managing gate passes and conducting thorough security screenings in line with facility protocols.
- Execute regular foot and mobile patrols around the plant perimeter, production bays, warehouses, material yards, and sensitive engineering development zones.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, heavy machinery shipments, and outgoing completed vehicles and parts against dispatch logs to prevent loss, theft, or unauthorized removal.
- Monitor CCTV feeds, perimeter intrusion detection systems, alarm panels, and automated access control hardware across the facility.
- Serve as an early responder for security breaches, fire alarms, medical emergencies, or safety incidents, and submit clear incident reports to senior management.
- Collaborate closely with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) officers to enforce workplace safety protocols and emergency evacuation plans.
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Criminology, Security Studies, Safety, Public Administration, Law Enforcement, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on security experience in an automotive facility, heavy engineering yard, or high-security defense installation.
- Prior military or paramilitary background from the Armed Forces, Police, NSCDC, or reputable private security firms is a distinct advantage.
- Deep understanding of physical security frameworks, perimeter defense, asset protection protocols, and electronic security systems integration.
- High physical fitness, sharp observational skills, absolute integrity, conflict resolution capabilities, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
