About the Role

An established primary school located in the serene environment of Abijo GRA, Lagos, is seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage Two Teacher to join their dedicated academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping young minds, delivering engaging lessons, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Key Stage Two curriculum.
  • Manage classroom behavior proactively to create a safe, orderly, and conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Assess, monitor, and record students' academic progress and personal development, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design extracurricular activities and contribute to school-wide events and initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student performance, behavioral milestones, and developmental needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Education (BSc Ed) or a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is a strong added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of verifiable teaching experience within a structured primary school setting.
  • Exceptional classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • A genuine, unwavering commitment to child development and modern pedagogical approaches.
