About the Role
HR Aid Consults is partnering with a prestigious primary school in Abijo GRA, Lagos, to recruit a dedicated and dynamic Early Years Teacher. In this role, you will play a foundational part in shaping the academic, social, and emotional growth of young learners, implementing creative teaching methods that inspire a lifelong love for learning.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned with early childhood education curricula.
- Monitor, assess, and document the developmental and academic progress of each student.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages positive behavior.
- Collaborate closely with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address developmental needs.
- Organize interactive classroom activities, storytelling, arts, and crafts to boost cognitive and motor skills.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and pastoral care of all children under your supervision at all times.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or a relevant teaching qualification.
- Possession of a Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) license is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven teaching experience in an early years setting.
- Exceptional classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A deep, genuine commitment to child development and early childhood pedagogy.
- Competitive and negotiable monthly salary ranging from N100,000 to N170,000.
