About the Role

Sika Manufacturing Nigeria Ltd, a fully-owned subsidiary of the worldwide Sika Group established in Lagos in 2014, is looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our growing team. In this strategic role reporting to the Head of Vertical Market, Infrastructure, you will support our vision of increasing sales profitability and customer satisfaction by identifying and developing high-value business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and increase sales and business opportunities for Sika Nigeria within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Build and maintain cordial, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry consultants.
  • Manage key accounts and oversee strategic projects within your assigned coverage area.
  • Ensure prescriptive selling of the right chemical and material solutions to precisely meet customer needs.
  • Manage credit sales effectively, focusing on credit utilization and timely recovery.
  • Improve market coverage and pioneer new market segments and application fields.
  • Plan and participate in technical training sessions, workshops, and industry events.
  • Drive the entire process of establishing a sustainable customer base, product supply, technical support, and robust customer relations.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, strategic plans, and regular management reports.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience in a related B2B sales or technical field.
  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as COREN is required.
  • Hands-on experience within the construction industry and built-up environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically CRM and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of micro and macroeconomic metrics affecting the Nigerian market.
