About the Role
Air Peace, renowned for our unparalleled safety consciousness and modern fleet, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Technical Stores Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of our Technical Stores, ensuring that all aircraft parts, materials, tools, and equipment are accurately documented, safely stored, and readily available to support our maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and store aircraft parts, materials, tools, and equipment in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and aviation regulations.
- Track and record inventory levels accurately using the airline's inventory management system, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure the safe handling, storage, and labeling of hazardous materials and monitor shelf-life expiration dates.
- Issue parts and equipment efficiently to maintenance teams, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Prepare materials for dispatch to outstations or for off-site repairs and participate in regular stock audits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the technical stores facility.
- HND or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical stores, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role, preferably within the aviation industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using inventory management systems and software.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols regarding hazardous materials handling and aviation regulatory standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
