Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons aligned with the approved junior secondary school curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and personal development.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and positive behavior.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Supervise extracurricular activities and guide students in moral, spiritual, and emotional development.
  • Keep accurate records of student attendance, performance, and grades as required by school policy.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed), B.A, B.Sc with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), or relevant academic qualifications.
  • Proven teaching experience within a recognized secondary school setting.
  • Deep understanding of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and modern pedagogical approaches.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • High level of integrity, patience, and passion for holistic youth development.
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advantage.
