The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) is seeking a dedicated and qualified medical professional to join our esteemed institution as a Junior Resident in Microbiology and Parasitology. Key Responsibilities- Participate actively in the Junior Residency Training Programme in Microbiology and Parasitology.
- Conduct thorough diagnostic laboratory investigations and clinical consultations under senior supervision.
- Manage patients effectively while adhering to hospital protocols and professional medical standards.
- Engage in medical research, departmental seminars, and continuous professional development activities.
- Contribute to the academic training of undergraduate medical students and allied health professionals.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Hold full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) along with a current practicing license.
- Provide evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- A pass in the relevant primary examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCN) or the West African Postgraduate Medical College (WACP/WACS) is an added advantage but not compulsory.
