The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) is seeking a dedicated and qualified medical professional to join our esteemed institution as a Junior Resident in Anatomy & Molecular Pathology. This prestigious Junior Residency Training Programme is designed to equip medical doctors with advanced clinical and diagnostic skills, leading to the award of prestigious professional fellowships.
Key Responsibilities- Participate actively in the anatomical and molecular pathology residency training programme.
- Conduct post-mortem examinations, surgical pathology evaluations, and cytopathological diagnoses.
- Engage in research activities and academic presentations within the department.
- Provide quality diagnostic services and patient care under the supervision of senior consultants.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and departmental seminars.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB degree or equivalent medical qualifications from a recognized institution.
- Hold full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) along with a current practicing license.
- Provide evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- A pass in the relevant primary examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or the West African Postgraduate Medical College is advantageous but not compulsory.
