Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Junior Resident in Preventive Dentistry. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive preventive dental care and treatment to patients under the supervision of senior medical consultants.
- Participate actively in departmental clinics, ward rounds, seminars, and academic presentations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere strictly to medical ethics and hospital protocols.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to evidence-based practices in preventive dentistry.
- Perform other clinical and academic duties assigned by the Head of Department.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Hold full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) along with a current practicing license.
- Provide evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Note that a pass in the relevant primary examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College is not compulsory for application.
