About the Role
Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) is a premier federal tertiary healthcare institution committed to delivering exceptional medical services, training, and research. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiographer I to join our professional healthcare team and contribute to our advanced diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations as requested by medical practitioners.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during all radiological procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all imaging procedures and adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in departmental training programs, quality assurance initiatives, and research activities.
- Possession of a good degree in Radiography registrable with the Radiographer Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
- Must possess a current and valid professional practicing license.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to professional ethics and patient-centered care.
