About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Junior Programme Associate specialising in Emergency Medicine to join our growing team in Nigeria and contribute to strengthening national healthcare and emergency response systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to government partners for emergency medical services and ambulance systems, ensuring compliance with established quality management standards.
  • Lead the implementation of computer-aided dispatch software for emergency medical services to optimise team performance and service expansion.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response for mass casualty events through robust contingency planning, simulation exercises, and rapid response coordination.
  • Conduct facility assessments, improve clinical workflows and referral pathways, and implement evidence-based interventions to strengthen emergency care systems.
  • Manage project lifecycles from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery on-time and within budget with minimal senior management oversight.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison to clients, consortium partners, government officials, and diverse project stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a positive, high-performing, and collaborative team culture.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by engaging stakeholders, ideating innovative solutions, and participating in proposal development.

Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Public Health or a professional background as a trained Clinician with dedicated experience in emergency medicine.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant post-national service experience in healthcare service delivery within Nigerian settings, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops, managing expert consultations, and collaborating effectively with government agencies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in French serving as an added advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
  • High level of resourcefulness, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
