About the Role
Estrada International Staffing Solutions (EISS) is looking for an intellectually curious and detail-oriented Junior Payroll Officer to serve as a key support within our Human Capital Advisory team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting total rewards programs, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with local labor standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct salary benchmarking, market research, and compensation surveys to evaluate internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Design, model, and refine base pay structures, salary bands, and incentive plans for internal roles and external client requests.
- Evaluate and manage employee benefits schemes including health insurance, pensions, and wellness initiatives.
- Manage monthly payroll calculations, deductions, and timely disbursement for internal staff and outsourced accounts.
- Oversee statutory compliance and remittances, including PAYE tax, Pension, NHF, NSITF, and ITF across relevant Nigerian regulatory jurisdictions.
- Reconcile payroll reports, address employee payment inquiries, and maintain accurate statutory filing records for audit readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience in compensation, benefits, rewards management, or payroll administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, tax governance, and statutory pension/insurance mandates.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and discretion handling sensitive employee data.
