About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI) is a leading HR and Management Consultancy firm dedicated to delivering excellence and innovative solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Internal Auditor to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will independently evaluate our internal controls, risk management processes, and operational procedures to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and maximum operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive risk-based internal audit plans aligned with corporate objectives.
- Review financial records, transactions, inventory, payroll, and supporting documents to verify accuracy and compliance.
- Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks while proposing effective mitigating measures and control improvements.
- Conduct special investigations into suspected fraud, policy violations, or financial irregularities as required.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely audit reports detailing findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for management.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions from previous audit cycles.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent are a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or external audit.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with unwavering ethical standards.
