About the Role
Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Legal & Communication Officer to join our team on-site at our dairy farm and processing facility in Vom, Plateau State. Incorporated in 2003, IDL operates across 550 hectares of prime land, producing premium fresh milk and dairy products in Nigeria. This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience by supporting both our legal department and corporate communications initiatives in a thriving agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and organize contracts, legal documents, compliance records, and professional correspondence.
- Handle company secretarial duties including preparing board meeting notices, agendas, proposals, and minutes.
- Manage statutory and regulatory filings such as annual returns, business licenses, and special resolutions.
- Maintain statutory registers including registers of charges, members, and directors.
- Provide timely legal advice to management and support intellectual property management.
- Draft press releases, support media relations, and assist with external stakeholder outreach.
- Develop and implement basic communication plans, messaging frameworks, and maintain archives.
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree with relevant professional certifications.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in law firms, FMCG, or agricultural companies.
- Foundational knowledge of corporate law, contracts, business registration, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and strict adherence to confidentiality.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Google Workspace tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an on-site setting.
