About the Role
Resurgir Consulting is seeking a driven Junior Legal Associate to join our corporate and commercial practice in Calabar, Cross River State. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nigerian-trained lawyer to build a robust career focusing on transactional, advisory, and non-litigation legal work within a dynamic and people-first environment.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-reasoned advisory memoranda and opinions.
- Handle corporate filings and regulatory compliance matters with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Assist with company secretarial duties, corporate governance, and client meeting documentation.
- Support comprehensive due diligence exercises and complex transaction documentation.
- Must be called to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
- 1 to 2 years of active post-call experience in corporate and commercial law practice.
- Demonstrated strength in legal drafting, analytical thinking, and research.
- Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and professional integrity.
- Must currently reside in Calabar, Cross River State.
- Competitive monthly salary of N70,000.
