About the Role
Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited, a prominent leader in Nigeria's agricultural and allied sector, is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Junior Internal Auditor to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the internal audit department to safeguard company assets, evaluate financial controls, and support the implementation of strategic audit recommendations across our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the flawless execution of the approved annual audit programme in strict alignment with allocated budgets and timelines.
- Participate actively in routine monthly stock-taking exercises, physical cash counts, and comprehensive reconciliations using SAP software.
- Assist in the diligent execution of approved special investigations and urgent management requests as they arise.
- Participate in specialized SIFCA standard audits and targeted operational missions to ensure compliance with corporate standards.
- Document audit findings accurately and assist in drafting clear, actionable reports for departmental review.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting from a recognized tertiary institution.
- A minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience in an internal audit or accounting role.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
