About the Role
iRecharge Tech-Innovations is a leading internet-powered distribution platform dedicated to simplifying the purchase of virtual products and digital services across Nigeria. We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented Junior Executive, Card Services to join our innovative team and help scale our expanding payment and card solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of card issuance, activation, blocking, replacement, renewal, and closure.
- Monitor ATM, POS, and e-commerce transactions, proactively handling declines, reversals, and failed transactions.
- Support comprehensive card settlement and reconciliation processes in collaboration with the Finance and Treasury teams.
- Detect and monitor card fraud, manage disputes and chargebacks, and investigate suspicious activities.
- Coordinate effectively with card processors, payment schemes, technology partners, and external vendors.
- Ensure all card operations strictly comply with applicable regulatory frameworks, payment schemes, and internal policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Finance, Technology, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in card services, payments, digital banking, fintech, or card operations.
- Demonstrated practical experience working with Visa, Mastercard, local payment schemes, or card processors.
- Strong working knowledge of card issuance, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and chargebacks.
- Familiarity with virtual cards, digital wallets, tokenisation, and payment APIs will be a strong added advantage.
