About the Role
Dotmac Technologies Ltd, a premier Information and Communications Technology company established in 2008, is currently seeking a talented and tech-savvy System Administrator to join our dynamic team for their National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) primary assignment. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our cutting-edge ICT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, and supporting our mission to deliver world-class engineering and technology services across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems, servers, and workstations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
- Provide technical support and assistance to internal staff members for various IT-related problems.
- Implement and manage regular data backups, cybersecurity protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, network layouts, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team on innovative technology projects and infrastructure upgrades.
- Must be a current NYSC corps member currently serving or about to commence primary assignment in Nigeria.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of networking principles, operating systems, and server management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments is a distinct advantage.
