About the Role
Horizontal Tempering Glass Limited is a global leader in architectural glass manufacturing, now expanding its cutting-edge operations in Nigeria. Operating from a state-of-the-art 6,000 square meter facility, we specialize in delivering premium glazing solutions for Africa's growing construction and infrastructure markets. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Junior AutoCAD Designer to join our dynamic technical team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and modify accurate 2D drawings, layouts, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD.
- Produce detailed shop and fabrication drawings for glass, windows, doors, partitions, and façade projects.
- Interpret architectural sketches, measurements, and technical specifications.
- Revise drawings promptly based on feedback from senior designers, engineers, and project managers.
- Maintain systematic documentation, filing, and version control for all project drawings.
- Collaborate closely with production, site, sales, and installation teams to clarify design specifications and requirements.
- Identify and report drawing discrepancies or potential errors prior to production.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of professional drafting experience; exceptional fresh graduates with strong AutoCAD proficiency will be considered.
- Demonstrated practical knowledge of AutoCAD software and technical drafting standards.
- Prior experience or familiarity with glass, aluminum, windows, doors, or façade fabrication drawings is a distinct advantage.
- Strong mathematical skills with precise attention to detail and dimensioning.
