We are seeking a talented and experienced Journalist to join our growing team of dedicated media professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Research, investigate, and report on news stories with accuracy and objectivity
- Conduct interviews with credible sources and verify all information before publication
- Write engaging, clear, and compelling news articles for online distribution
- Meet editorial deadlines while maintaining high journalistic standards
- Collaborate with editorial team to develop story angles and news coverage strategies
- Utilize multimedia platforms to enhance storytelling and audience engagement
- Stay updated on current events and emerging stories within assigned beats
- Maintain professional ethics and editorial integrity in all reporting
- Minimum 5 years of professional journalism experience
- Proven track record of producing accurate, well-researched news articles
- Strong writing and editing skills with excellent command of English
- Experience with digital journalism and content management systems
- Proficiency in social media and digital news distribution
- Knowledge of journalistic ethics and press regulations in Nigeria
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Proximity to Ikeja is an advantage
