About the Role
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), on behalf of the NEWCAP Consortium in Nigeria, is seeking a qualified media and communication firm or consultant to provide comprehensive multimedia storytelling services. Funded under the DG ECHO Humanitarian Implementation Plan 2026, this consultancy focuses on high-impact visual content production, interactive storytelling, and robust donor visibility compliance across our humanitarian response locations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct field-based filming and professional photography across designated programme locations in Nigeria.
- Capture consented interviews, write compelling case studies, and produce diverse social media assets.
- Deliver both raw and professionally edited multimedia content highlighting multi-sectoral humanitarian responses including Cash Assistance, RRM, Protection, and WASH.
- Support consortium-wide thought leadership and fulfill donor visibility obligations under the EU-DG ECHO grant agreement.
- Collaborate closely with the Grants and Communications Coordinator for asset delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Demonstrated professional experience in media production, visual storytelling, videography, and photography, preferably within the humanitarian or NGO sector.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality field-based multimedia content in complex operational environments.
- Strong technical expertise in video editing, audio recording, interactive storytelling, and content management.
- Excellent writing skills for developing engaging case studies and social media assets.
- Ability to adhere strictly to ethical guidelines regarding consent, safeguarding, and humanitarian principles.
