We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Staff member to ensure our campus remains spotless, hygienic, and conducive to learning.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, administrative offices, and common areas daily.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste, empty trash receptacles regularly, and maintain clean outdoor school grounds.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following all school health and safety guidelines to protect students and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues, facility damages, or safety hazards promptly to the school administration.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed to ensure uninterrupted school operations.
- Set up and arrange furniture and equipment for school events, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.
- Minimum of a School Certificate (SSCE) or relevant educational background.
- Proven previous experience working as a cleaner, janitor, or in a similar facilities maintenance role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift cleaning equipment or supplies.
