In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our workspaces remain neat, safe, and presentable for both staff and esteemed visitors, contributing directly to a productive and healthy corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain office spaces, restrooms, hallways, and common areas on a daily basis.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all assigned zones efficiently.
- Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste in accordance with environmental standards.
- Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies, including soap, tissue, and hand sanitizers, as needed.
- Ensure restrooms are rigorously cleaned, sanitized, and well-maintained throughout the day.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, property damages, or safety hazards immediately to management.
- Operate, clean, and maintain all cleaning equipment properly to ensure longevity and safety.
- Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations while executing daily cleaning duties.
- Assist internal teams in setting up and arranging office spaces and furniture for meetings and events.
- Guarantee that the entire physical environment is orderly, safe, and visually appealing for everyone on-site.
- Minimum of a SSCE or relevant school certificate.
- Proven professional experience as a janitor, cleaner, or in a similar facilities maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of safe chemical handling, cleaning techniques, and waste disposal protocols.
- Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and handle physical tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
