Key Responsibilities- Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping attendants, monitoring staff performance, punctuality, and grooming.
- Conduct thorough daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet strict hotel presentation standards.
- Manage linen and inventory control, maintaining accurate records and reporting shortages, damages, or losses promptly.
- Monitor the proper usage, storage, and maintenance of cleaning chemicals and equipment to minimize wastage.
- Identify and report maintenance issues in rooms and public areas, following up until fully resolved.
- Oversee the Lost and Found procedure in compliance with company policy.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations across all housekeeping operations.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the Front Office regarding room status, VIP arrivals, and special guest requests.
- Prepare daily operational reports covering staff attendance, room status, and maintenance needs.
- Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Proven working experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with high standards for cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
