About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Technician to join our team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, connected devices, and field networks, directly supporting our business objectives through innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain computers, network equipment, routers, switches, and other critical IT devices.
- Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, 4G, and other essential connectivity solutions.
- Provide reliable technical support for users, hardware, software, and operational IT systems.
- Install, configure, and support POS systems, payment terminals, and related connected devices.
- Diagnose and efficiently resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Support the deployment and commissioning of IT equipment across various operational and field locations.
- Perform routine maintenance, system checks, and necessary equipment upgrades.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT equipment, configurations, and recurring technical issues.
- Ensure all IT systems and equipment strictly comply with relevant security and operational standards.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar technical role.
- Strong working knowledge of computer hardware, networking principles, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, LAN, Wi-Fi, and 4G connectivity solutions.
- Familiarity with POS and payment devices, with Oil and Gas or industrial sector experience being a distinct advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
