About the Role
Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), a leading federal tertiary health institution in Nigeria, is currently seeking a dedicated and competent Assistant IT Support II to join our vibrant technology team. Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across various hospital departments.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and equipment within the facility.
- Respond promptly to user support tickets and escalate complex technical issues to senior IT personnel.
- Help ensure data security compliance and assist in routine system backups.
- Candidates must possess five (5) Credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics in WASSCE, GCE, or NECO.
- Must possess a recognized Diploma from a reputable training center in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, troubleshooting techniques, and network protocols.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Conditions of service are attractive and similar to those obtainable in the Federal Public Service and Federal Tertiary Health Institutions in Nigeria.
- RemunERAtion is based on CONHESS 03 Step 01, translating to N950,125.00 annually.
