About the Role
Eclat HR Consulting is a progressive Human Resource Management Firm headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, dedicated to delivering operational excellence and sustainable business solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled IT Technician to join our Operations and Installation department. In this vital role, you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting robust network infrastructures and peripheral devices for our diverse clientele across the nation.
Key Responsibilities- Set up ISP, dispenser networks, local networks, and connectivity at customer stations.
- Install and configure LAN cables, Wi-Fi, and 4G connectivity for dispensers and related equipment.
- Configure routers and firewalls in line with basic cybersecurity requirements.
- Support the installation and connection of payment terminals and peripheral devices.
- Assist with device registration, connectivity, and basic system configuration.
- Troubleshoot IT and network issues during installation and commissioning.
- Monitor and resolve connectivity issues affecting dispenser and payment system operations.
- Coordinate with the Software/IoT team on technical issues requiring further escalation.
- Document completed installations, configurations, and network-related issues.
- B.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in IT support, networking, or a related technical role.
- Practical expertise in network setup, routers, firewalls, LAN, Wi-Fi, and 4G connectivity.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues effectively.
- Strong competencies in IT support, basic cybersecurity awareness, technical documentation, and customer service.
