About the Role
Lafiya Nigeria is a fast-growing global health non-profit empowering women through access to contraception and strengthening community health infrastructure. As we scale from 25 to 45 staff, we are seeking a hands-on, multi-skilled IT Systems and Security Manager to establish, secure, and manage our entire technology ecosystem from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities- Build, procure, and configure device fleets and infrastructure for staff and community health workers, managing budgets and inventory lifecycles.
- Design, implement, and monitor foundational cybersecurity controls aligning with ISO 27001 standards, including MFA, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Administer core software platforms, user accounts, and access permissions across Google Workspace, Slack, and cloud SaaS subscriptions.
- Serve as the primary IT support contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and account issues.
- Drive systems adoption, training, and change management as the organization deploys new internal technologies and digital tools.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or generalist IT roles within small organizations or NGOs.
- Mandatory hands-on experience managing a device fleet of 20+ Windows and Mac devices.
- Proven expertise in Google Workspace administration and SaaS platform management.
- A recognized cybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity) with practical implementation experience.
