About the Role
Geoplex Drillteq Limited, a leading indigenous oilfield service company in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Systems & Digital Infrastructure Officer. In this role, you will administer our Microsoft 365 environment, protect confidential digital assets, maintain IT equipment, and strengthen data integrity across business systems to support our growing upstream operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer Microsoft 365 tenant services including user accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Implement and monitor security controls such as multi-factor authentication, conditional access, and endpoint protection.
- Maintain a comprehensive IT asset register for hardware, software, and mobile devices, coordinating procurement and maintenance.
- Provide first- and second-line IT support for hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access issues.
- Support the administration of PEMS and other business applications, ensuring data quality and generating management reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Monitor system health, backups, and cybersecurity alerts, escalating incidents promptly and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or relevant role-based M365 administration certification.
- Additional certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Network+/Security+, CCNA, or ITIL Foundation.
- Proven professional experience in IT support, systems administration, and cloud environment management, preferably within the oil and gas or corporate sector.
