About the Role
Clinix Healthcare is a leading diagnostic services provider offering a full range of advanced diagnostic and remedial solutions of international standards, known for accurate results at reasonable rates with quick turnaround times. We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive IT Officer to join our dynamic team at the Festac branch in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining seamless technology operations, ensuring that both clinical and administrative staff have uninterrupted support to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-line technical support to branch staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other essential office and medical peripheral equipment.
- Monitor network connectivity, internet uptime, and user access permissions securely.
- Support specialized laboratory information systems and other clinical software applications utilized at the branch.
- Perform regular data backups and assist with basic system security protocols, updates, and virus protection.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults promptly, escalating complex infrastructural issues to senior management when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventories of IT assets, hardware components, and incident support requests.
- Ensure compliance with company data confidentiality protocols and overarching IT security policies at all times.
- Possession of an HND or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated previous experience working as an IT Support Officer, IT Officer, or similar technology role.
- Prior working experience in a healthcare, hospital, or diagnostic laboratory environment will be a strong added advantage.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are preferred.
- Evidence of successfully completing the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a professional, user-friendly approach.
