We are currently looking for a proactive IT Support / Systems Officer to ensure the reliability, security, and effective operation of our IT infrastructure, systems, and user technology environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliable first- and second-level technical support to employees across the organization.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and peripheral issues efficiently.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstation computers, printers, and other office hardware.
- Support network connectivity, local area networks, and related infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, Active Directory, and access permissions securely.
- Monitor system performance regularly and implement data backup and recovery procedures.
- Support cybersecurity measures, information security controls, and system updates.
- Maintain comprehensive IT asset registers and document technical incidents and resolutions.
- Conduct staff training on systems, software usage, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Liaise professionally with external IT service providers and vendors when necessary.
- B.Sc. or HND qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant hands-on IT support and systems administration experience.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, or Cisco CCNA are a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, cybersecurity principles, and cloud technologies.
