As an IT Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for our esteemed hospitality clients, and providing top-tier technical assistance across various hardware, software, and networking systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, routers, and switches to ensure optimal connectivity.
- Oversee Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform system administration tasks utilizing Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Support specialized hospitality systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) platforms, and Online Travel Agencies (OTA) integrations.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams for successful IT project implementations.
- Enforce strict data security protocols and execute reliable backup best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on professional IT experience, preferably within the hospitality or hotel management industry.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or equivalent are a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience with hospitality software such as PMS (Fidelio, Opera), OTA booking platforms, and POS systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and analytical mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
