About the Role
PRIMERO Transport Services Limited, the renowned operator of high-capacity mass transit buses in Lagos, is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our robust IT infrastructure, managing network resources, and ensuring seamless technological operations across our terminals in Ikorodu, Agric, and Mile 12 to support our daily commuter services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reliable day-to-day technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor critical IT systems, servers, and office equipment.
- Manage user accounts, corporate email systems, and access permissions securely.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, routers, switches, and internet connectivity.
- Ensure data integrity through robust security measures, regular system backups, and IT compliance.
- Monitor overall system performance and resolve technical bottlenecks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT assets, hardware, systems, and configurations.
- Provide staff training and technical guidance on software applications and IT best practices.
- Liaise effectively with external tech vendors and service providers when necessary.
- Bachelor degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant hands-on IT support and infrastructure experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook and corporate email administration.
- Solid understanding of IT cybersecurity principles, data protection, and backup protocols.
