About the Role
Avetium Consult Limited is looking for a dedicated and analytical IT Services Monitoring and Operations Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, and delivering high-quality technology services to our internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and databases continuously using advanced monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Identify, log, and troubleshoot technical issues proactively to minimize system downtime and prevent recurring incidents.
- Analyze comprehensive performance data and metrics to recommend and implement service optimizations.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional IT support and engineering teams to resolve complex incidents swiftly.
- Generate detailed reports, performance trends, and actionable insights for IT stakeholders and management.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of monitoring procedures, incident response workflows, and system configurations.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience in IT monitoring, help desk operations, or a similar technical support role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in industry-standard monitoring tools such as Grafana, SolarWinds, Nagios, or ManageEngine.
- Solid foundational knowledge of core IT infrastructure components including servers, enterprise networks, and databases.
- Familiarity with prominent cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
