Growth in Value Alliance (GV Alliance) Partners is a premier business advisory and market intelligence firm. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Security Analyst to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining our robust security posture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting our vital digital assets against emerging cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and external PCI DSS and ISO27001 assessors and auditors.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness training programs on a quarterly, annual, and on-demand basis.
  • Create and distribute engaging security awareness materials, including presentations, posters, and targeted email alerts.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of security awareness programs through surveys, tests, and actionable metrics.
  • Define, implement, and enforce strict security requirements for applications currently in development.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to seamlessly integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and ensure continuous compliance with security requirements throughout all phases of the development process.
  • Participate actively in cybersecurity operations, including vulnerability and threat identification, incident detection and response, forensic investigations, and patch management.
  • Engage with infrastructure and application teams to drive effective mitigation and remediation efforts.
  • Maintain key performance metrics that accurately indicate the security posture of the corporate infrastructure.
  • Monitor threat intelligence feeds to stay ahead of industry reports and emerging threats that may impact the organization.
  • Produce high-level Executive Dashboard Security reports featuring actionable insights derived from advanced IT security monitoring tools.
  • Partner with other IT units to establish and enforce security best practices, protection objectives, and vital process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience in IT Security is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PCI DSS and ISO27001 compliance standards and audit processes.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle security and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Lagos before starting work is strictly required.
