About the Role
Brent Store Limited, the renowned retail chain arm of the Brent Group, is looking for a proactive and skilled IT Personnel to join our growing team. As a premier one-stop shop for daily consumer goods, we rely heavily on robust technology to deliver exceptional shopping experiences in our serene and secure stores. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring uninterrupted daily business operations and supporting our retail expansion goals across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including computer systems, servers, and POS terminals.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to store staff and administrative personnel.
- Ensure network security, data integrity, and regular system backups.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software maintenance and upgrades.
- Monitor inventory of IT equipment and recommend necessary replacements or upgrades.
- Assist in the implementation of new retail software and technology solutions.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in an IT support or technical role, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
