About the Role

The Centre for Communication and Social Impact (CCSI) believes that communication saves lives. We focus on the central role of communication in social and behavior change for development, partnering with government agencies, international donors, NGOs, and the private sector. We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for our Information Technology function, ensuring a reliable, secure, and efficient technology infrastructure that supports our corporate operations and impactful programme implementation across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CCSI's IT strategy, annual workplan, and technology roadmap in alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimisation of IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, and Microsoft 365.
  • Establish robust cybersecurity controls, data protection measures, and business continuity protocols.
  • Manage IT procurement, vendor relationships, asset registers, and the annual departmental budget.
  • Provide technical support and digital solutions for programmes, project offices, and field teams operating in diverse locations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of the internal IT team to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive IT management experience, with at least 3 years specifically in the NGO, health, or international development sector.
  • Proven expertise in managing cloud systems (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), robust cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian ICT policies, donor compliance regulations, and data protection standards.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
