About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to spearhead our enterprise technology, digital, data, analytics, and artificial intelligence strategy. In this pivotal executive role, you will ensure that our technology ecosystem accelerates revenue growth, enhances customer engagement, drives operational excellence, and maintains robust cyber resilience.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise technology, digital, data, analytics, and AI strategy aligned with overall organizational goals.
- Govern technology investments and manage multi-million-naira budgets to ensure maximum return on investment and measurable business value.
- Lead large-scale modernization, cloud migration, data programmes, and cybersecurity uplift initiatives across the enterprise.
- Oversee complex vendor ecosystems, IT governance frameworks, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Ensure stringent regulatory compliance, data privacy adherence, and responsible AI adoption within all technology operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
- 12 to 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, with at least 5 years operating at the executive level.
- Recognized professional certifications such as COBIT 2019, ITIL 4, TOGAF, or relevant cloud and AI governance credentials.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large budgets, digital channels, API platforms, and multidisciplinary technology teams.
- Strong background working within regulated industries such as financial services, payments, fintech, or telecommunications.
