About the Role

We are currently looking for a talented IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our vibrant and ambitious team in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, deploying, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure architectures, ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and security for both internal systems and our esteemed clients across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Implement, configure, monitor, and support computing platforms, including physical/virtual servers, operating systems, and data center applications.
- Manage enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring regular testing, documentation, and compliance.
- Provide escalated technical support for virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS, DAS).
- Deploy and maintain Microsoft-related technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and SharePoint.
- Proactively engage with clients to troubleshoot system issues, optimize infrastructure performance, and recommend scalable technology solutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to information security policies, asset management, and incident response protocols.
- University Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related numerate discipline; an M.Sc is an added advantage.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on technical experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise virtualization.
- Relevant professional certifications such as Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, or Veeam are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell for automation and systems management.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
