Brilliant Footsteps International Academy (BFIA), a highly rated private primary and secondary school established in 2012 in Sokoto State, is looking for a passionate and qualified Islamic Studies Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Islamic Studies lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Instill strong Islamic moral values, ethics, and etiquettes among primary and secondary school students.
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Foster a disciplined, inclusive, and spiritually uplifting classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Participate in school-wide Islamic activities, Quranic competitions, and cultural events.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school administration to enhance overall student development and institutional goals.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student academic performance and behavioral progress.
- Minimum of an NCE, B.Ed, B.A. or related degree in Islamic Studies, Arabic, or Education.
- Proven teaching experience in Islamic Studies within a recognized primary or secondary school.
- Deep knowledge of the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage young learners.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is an added advantage.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Sokoto State.
