Al-Ihsan Islamic School, located in Millennium City, Kaduna, Nigeria, is a reputable educational institution dedicated to raising morally upright and academically competent future leaders. We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Islamic Studies / Qur'anic Studies Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering engaging lessons that foster both spiritual growth and academic excellence among our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Islamic Studies and Qur'anic recitation, Tajweed, and Memorization (Hifz) in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and moral development.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school administration on school events, extracurricular activities, and curriculum enhancement.
- Instill Islamic values, manners (Adab), and ethics in students through daily interactions and mentorship.
- Relevant educational qualifications such as a B.Ed, B.A. in Islamic Studies, NCE, or equivalent certification in Arabic and Islamic Sciences.
- Proven teaching experience in an Islamic school or formal educational setting.
- Proficiency in Quranic recitation with proper application of Tajweed rules.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong commitment to fostering the holistic development of students.
- Teaching certifications and familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches will be an added advantage.
