About the Role
Matrix International Academy, a leading private educational institution in Gombe State, Nigeria, is recruiting a passionate and qualified Islamic Religious Knowledge Teacher. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Islamic Religious Knowledge lessons to Nursery, Primary, and Secondary students
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the integrated Nigerian-British curriculum framework
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to learners and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent teaching standards across all year groups
- Contribute to the spiritual and moral development of students through exemplary conduct and mentorship
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and professional development programmes
- Bachelor's degree (B.Ed, B.Sc, or HND) in Islamic Studies, Religious Education, or a related discipline
- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in a relevant subject area
- Minimum 2 years of verified teaching experience at any educational level
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification (highly advantageous)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong classroom management abilities and interpersonal skills
