About the Role
KNOSK N100/25cents A-Day Charity Secondary School is a mission-driven institution dedicated to providing quality secondary education to children from the poorest households and underserved communities, with special focus on out-of-school children and girls. We are seeking a passionate and qualified English Language Teacher to join our team and make a meaningful impact on young lives while promoting educational sustainability and socioeconomic mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive English language lessons aligned with the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning needs
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth
- Integrate technology and modern pedagogical tools into lesson delivery where possible
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a cohesive educational community
- Mentor and inspire students to pursue higher education and sustainable livelihoods
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or relevant discipline (B.A./B.Sc.) with PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in secondary schools (preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in Nigerian secondary school English curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching (advantageous)
